there. Of course I had a good time the whole time I was there but you know what I mean. After dinner Martha, your mother, & Joc went up to call on Miss Hall, (Mrs. Breed's sister), I stayed home with your father. He told me all about his experiences as a sailor. The folks got home about 9.30. We sat by the fire and talked awhile, then went to bed.
This morning we got the house cleaned up to leave it. Joc and your father brought the canoe up. I didn't go out in it again. I was going in it yesterday but was too lazy to dump the water out so

so much. But I suppose I will live until the following week before I see you, dear. It may be that Joc and Martha will not have to leave and if they don't my folks will come down here then. Joc is going to phone and find out the particulars.
I didn't get a letter from you yesterday, dear, but I guess you were pretty busy. I hope that I get one on the seven train this evening.
