Last night after we got home from the post office I let Jane and John ask some little children over. Mabel went over to Wakefield's with Bud Davis. Florence came over here. I built a fire and all the children including Ruth, Florence and I sat on the floor in front of the fire and told stories. We turned all the lights out. John popped corn and we had lots of fun. They all had to go home at 9 o'clock.
