A quorum being in attendance, Dr Jacob Bigelow took the chair. _

Record read _

The record of the last meeting was read. _

Statement of Mr C.G. Nazro by permission of Proprietors _

Mr Charles G. Nazro, a member of the board of Trustees, asked permission, before the meeting should proceed to other business to make a statement of facts in relation to the suit of law maintained by this Corporation against Mr Jonathan Mann, such a statement having been asked for at the last meeting.

Interrupted with point of order _ Decided by Chairman to be out of order.

No objection having been made, the Chairman stated that he could proceed. _

Mr Nazro had proceeded to read a part of his statement, when Judge John S. Ladd of Cambridge interrupted him with a point of order, and asked the Chairman to rule that the business for which the meeting was notified _ viz. to hear the report of the Committee on the ballot for Trustees, was the first in order.

Appeals _

After some discussion, the chair ruled as requested from which decision Mr Nazro appealed to the meeting. The vote was taken, and the Chairman declared his decision to be sustained. _

Is overruled.

Mr Jewell for the Committee on balloting for Trustees then read the report of the Committee, a copy of which follows: _

Upon motion by Mr Crocker,

Privilege to Alexr McDonald. Stone Cutter _

Voted, that the written communication from Mr Bangs respecting granting Alexr McDonald a privilege to exhibit monumental specimens in the lot leased to Mr Apple, be referred to Mr Nazro with full power.

Respecting change of name of Meadow Pond _

A communication from John S. Ladd Esq. of Cambridge, respecting giving a more euphorious name to Meadow Pond, was read, and it was noted that the same be laid upon the table. ~

Lot 562

Upon the petition, Mary D. Holmes of Boston, widow of the late Augustus S. Holmes was appointed to represent his lot No. 562.

The Trustees held their regular monthly meeting, agreeably to the notification thereof. (Monday July 5th being observed as the National holiday) at the usual place, ~

There were present, the President, Messrs Cheever, Gould, Little, Nazro, Read and Sleeper = 7
