to pay to this Corporation a bequest of three hundred dollars contained in said will for the purpose of keeping said lot in perpetual repair and preservation, and that they had accepted the same subject to the concurrence of this Board.

Upon motion by Mr Read,

Voted that this Board approve the acceptance of said sum for the above named purpose.

Lot 1331 _ Represente

Upon the petition of the heirs at law of Nathaniel Daniels, deceased, late proprietor of lot no. 1331. Edwin T. Daniels of Somerville, eldest son of said Nathaniel, was designated to represent said lot.

Lot 1370 Represente

Upon the petition of the children and heirs at law of Eleazer Nichols, deceased, late proprietor of lot No. 1370, Abigail Nichols, widow of said Eleazer, of Boston was designated to represent said lot.

Resignation of Mr Curtis as member of Com. on Lots-

Mr Curtis tendered his resignation as a member of the Committee on Lots, and said resignation was laid upon the table until the next meeting.

The meeting was then adjourned, Attest Austin J. Coolidge, Secy

Trustees.

Sec'y instructed to communicate to Mr Train the Prov. of the charter.

to Mr Train a copy of the provisions of the Act of 1835, in reference to the subject of the representation of Lots, wherein it is provided, (Sect. 8), that "in making such designation the Trustees shall as far as they conveniently may, give the preference to males over females, and to proximity of blood and priority of age, having due regard, however, to proximity of residence."

The following representative was designated: –

1370 Henry Nichols of Boston, Son of Eleazer Nichols, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Thirteen hundred and seventy.

Voted, – that this meeting be dissolved.

A monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on Wednesday, , at Four o'clock, P.M.

Present, Messrs. J.T. Bradlee, N.J. Bradlee, ^Lawrence, Brewer, Choate, Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner.

The record of the last meeting was read & approved.

Fire-Extinguishers reported unnecessary

Reports of Committees were made as follows, viz: –

The Committee on Grounds to whom was referred the communication of the late Superintendent in regard to the purchase of Fire=Extinguishers reported that having conferred with the Superintendent they were of opinion that no action is necessary upon the said communication.
