P.S. Niether [neither] paper, the Chronicle nor The "Times Star" copied verbatim [underlined] the Citation as it came - which is a pity for the Citation reads the best of all. [underlined] They I suppose thought they improved on it - which they did not! The Andersons were down last nite & we are being congratulated upon all sides A notice appeared in the Bulletin April 2nd which Dorothy Thompson Mays gave me yesterday. I had not seen it it was not gotten from us "We are going to send a copy of the Citation as I got it today from the T.S. to Sunset in the hope that they will publish it with the photo - verbatim" Mother
