Capt Winsor

Dear Sir,

Please bring in a report upon the lot of Edwin Booth 3281, -- 300 feet -- Anemone Path, for perpetual repair.

Mr Booth is fond of flowers, and would like to have included in the estimate a "moderate display" of flowers. I think he has paid about $10 for care of lot. You always set some in the border. I do not know that he desires much beyond what you do -- but wishes to stipulate for the setting of them.

By our usual contracts, we are not obliged to set flowers.

Yours truly

A.J. Coolidge Sec.y

Dear Sir: -

Please report upon lot 2887, Larch Av. 60 ft - belonging to Mrs Anna R. Goodwin for perpetual repair -- also state what repairs will cost if any are first needed. --

Mr Thos. Richardson is very anxious about the price of land -- 200 feet more or less on the northerly side of the Alger lot -- at the end of Elm Av -- Somebody has reported to him that it has been sold; but I told him I thought not. He is in the Alger family, & wishes to purchase it --

Will you survey it up to the Alger line, & let him know through me how much it contains --

Truly yours,

A. J. Coolidge

Capt. D. L. Winsor

as Representative of Lot 236 rejected _

Reported in writing _

That the charter authorizes the Trustees to designate the representative of a lot only from the "devisers or heirs at law" of a deceased proprietor: _ that the Revd Dr Miles is not either a devisee or heir at law, although a part owner, and therefore not eligible to said appointment.

He therefore recommended that the petition be not granted.

The report was accepted.

Perpetual Repair of Lot 3281 _

The Secretary reported that the Committee on Lots had contracted with Edwin Booth, the proprietor of lot numbered thirty two hundred and eighty one (3281) for the perpetual care of said lot on payment of five hundred and fifty dollars.

Voted that said contract be ratified.

Story Lot Fund _ Story Statue Fund _

The Treasurer suggested the adoption of the following vote, which was passed: _

"That the Committee on Lots be instructed to direct the Treasurer how to charge the bills paid in 1864 for improvements to the lot of the late Joseph Story; and to ascertain if, in any way, the balance of the fund for the Story Statue can be appropriated thereto."

Adjourned to the next regular meeting. Attest, Austin J. Coolidge Secretary.
