Mr Crocker authorized to purchase lots on Laurel Hill _

Upon motion by Mr Curtis,

Voted that Mr Crocker be authorized to purchase on the best terms in his power the six lots on Laurel Hill belonging to Francis Fisher.

The meeting was then adjourned

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held on

There were present Messrs Andrews, Bigelow, Crocker, Curtis, Nazro, Rand and Tobey.

S. H. Russell's Complt of encroachment on his lot _ refd to Comee on Lots.

Mr Curtis read a note from Samuel H. Russell, complaining that his lot numbered 730 situated on Sweetbrier Path had been covered by a new lot numbered 3090 conveyed to Edwin H. Sampson.

On motion of Mr Nazro,

Voted that the Committee on Lots be authorized to negotiate with Mr Russell for another lot on Sweet Brier Path adjoining the lot of Mrs Gibson, or any other unoccupied lot which they may deem advisable.

Mr Curtis read a communication from Joseph Breck as Chairman of the Executive Committee

I am in receipt of your favor of Apr. 5th/ enclosing price list of Grass seeds & at prices named you may send me per Emersons Express.

10 bushels selected Herdsgrass
5 [bushels] Fancy Rhode Island Bent
5 [bushels] Fancy K'y Blue grass
10 lts White Dutch Clover Impl
5 bush Lawn grass.
As soon as you can, I wish my order for 6 doz No 2. grass hooks given several weeks ago & for trowels & sythes to be filled & sent me by Emerson Express. Please forward the tools with as little delay as possible.
