with the Faborite Hathaway of Fair Haven
with 3 whales then from [Trio & gunnars?] at
Sun set calm Stand qr [quarter] watches so Ends

The day began with light breezes from the
Sth W ward Ship under all sail Steering
N W middle & latter part Strong winds
together with rain at noon Tacked Ship
& steered to the East ward So passed the day

Throughout the day fresh Gales from the
N ward & rain Ship under all sail Steering East
