For any sore
Take Clownes wort picke a good Quantity
of the cleanest & greenest of the Leaues
shred them & stamp them, then takes
Hogs greace & weigh of each a sufficient
Quantity, & dissolve them first & then put
in the herbs, & lett itt boyle untill itt
leaue bubling for by this you shall know
when itt is boyled enough, then straine
itt & reserve itt for your use.
The Emplayster
Take a pinte & half of oyle Oliue sett it
on the fire & dissolve therein a Quarter of
a pound of Bees wax & lett it boyle a little
then put in half a pound of red lead, &
six ounces of white lead both well beaten
to fine powder & after that they haue boyled
soe that they bee incorporate with the rest then
putt in att the end of all 3 ounces of the best
ffrankincense beaten likewise to fine powder
and lett itt boyle untill itt be incorporate with
rest after that lett coole & make it up as dough
is with water & reserue itt for your use

For a Looseness
Take of plamtaine Water of red rose
water alike quantity, and of as much
mint water as of them both & soo put
them together & drink the same warme
& often, and it will undoubtedly help
them, for it hath been often proued
and hath helped such as haue been
subjectt to a looseness a long time
Another
Take the bark of an Oaktree & put away
all the one side & boyle as much of the inside
of the said bark as you may hold in your
hand or less in a Quart of milk and
lett it boyle together till it come to
halfe a pint, or thereabout and then let
the party drink the same;
To bring forth the Poxe
Take Marigold flowers & harts horne boyle
them in posset Ale & soe giue it to drink
