Take almonds & boyle them in hony untill they bee blacke

Apint of milke from a new calved cow when it will in
dure boylinge; a pint of Runninge water; as much lofe sugar
as an egge, boyle it halfe in; & drinke it morninge & evening^e
2 or 3 dayes to gether

for scowringe & vomitinge

Take the roots of meddowsweet & sorrell boyle them first
in water then in milke & give it to drinke

A medicin for for a Pleurisie

Take one of the best apples; make therein a hole fill it with
3 or 4 peeces of olibanum; then cover the hole with the peice
youCut of; rost it tender & eate it

for fullnesse & cloginge in the stomacke & for any^e
in tertious ague

Mixe dragon water treackle aquae vitae rose water &
vinnegar; of each 2 spoonfulls drinke it warme; for a wom
an one spoonfull will bee anough

for an ill stomach

Take Red or Clarret wine with cloves & mace bruised
take allso Red mint & wormwood of each a good quantity
boyle these together till it bee stronge then wet therein a
Peece of scarlet & lay it to the stomach

an execelent bagg for the convulsion fitts

Take the roots of daffodills newgathered; scrape them & slice
them thine; & fill a small bagg as bigg as 3 fingers let the
bagg bee as bigg silke & hange it about the Childs necke; soe
as it may bee upon the stomacke; use this at the fitts first
cominge & you shall see the abatement
