Spoon noe more then you vse at a time let it be moe hotter

oyl if it be well kept lay the oyntment on the cloth in a
moderate thicknes always keeping the same cloth next
the sore the rest must be shifted when you please

For the Kings Euel

a quart of milk from the cow set it on
the fire & when it boyles put in 2 sponfuls
of live Honey stir it tel the Hony is melted
then set it one againe let it boyle 3 or
4 walmes then take it ofe & give one part
so soon as they wake another at 10 of the
clock another at 4 in the afternoon &
the last goeing to bed make it new euery
day & purg once or twice a week with
conscastinum they that commend it
say they have cured many with it

Kings Euel or white Swelling

Take twice a day a spoonful of wheat Flower
in [Thea] for a month

A purging drink for the Kings Euel

Two handful of white Ark Angel Flowers an ounce
of sweet Fennel seed halfe an ounce of Liquorish
put them in a new white Pipkin & put to
them 2 quarts of spring water then boyle thes
tel they come to a quart straine it & put in 2
ounces of Melrosarum or Hony of Roses put
it in a bottle shake it stop it let the patient
drink a sack glass 3 times a day wash it with
veriuyce made without salt if it be to sharp
warme it with a bitt of fresh Butter
this has cured many refraining milk & chees
the melrosarum must be made with Damask
Roses
