cloud from title and have the claim of lien on the part of the
City, annulled and set aside, but petitioner is opposed to such a
course and is desirous of paying his proportionate part of the
taxes for the aforesaid. To that end petitioner prays that
the City Assessor be given authority by the Council to re-assess
that part of the land purchased by petitioner at its reasonable
valuation for such years,and that upon the payment of same by
petitioner he be allowed and granted his tax receipt and
acquittance therefor.
