up 7 am. Telegram from Jr. at breakfast table. To the off. and had it [illegible] Henderson office and then to CH. work on [illegible] until 1 pm. Then to dinner and [illegible] bank and to CH[illegible] and an 2:30 at my old office South Henderson and [illegible] conference about the [illegible]. and then I work [illegible] CH office and then at work all the afternoon. Wrote Jr. and no 117 [authorizing?] [illegible] to Jr. and R. I. at 8 pm. Augusts 9:20-10:30 [clubscreenrooms] HOme 11 and back to let off [vertical in left margin] and read telegram [illegible] 8:40 PM I [know] tomorrow

Up. 7:20 am. Bank at 9. [Mrs.] and me received notes at 30 [illegible] for 300. Then Henderson's office. and down to Mitchells and [illegible] [illegible] sch. [illegible] and had to talk with him about the case. and he told me of findings and charges up to CH and there till 6 PM. Then August's 6:30 -7:40 office. 17 [illegible] [illegible]. 9:20-11:30 sanctum. Ord [illegible]. To US Court house and left there at 12 :10 PM.. and home and to bed after eating supper at 1 am.
