I find we haven't as much
cupbord room in the
kitchen as we had out in
the little shanty. Yesterday
morning, Papa washed
our underclothes and
stockings, 2 towles and 1 dish
towl, (?). So our washing is
done for this week. It was
so nice. Was afraid it
might rain later in the
week, so it is out of the
way. Am pretty good in
the morning or was this morning,
but can hardly walk on
leg after working awhile.
I am so afraid you are
down in bed from that
awful work, and am so greatful
for the help, as I keep
unpacking things, I think what
a fine job you did, and I am
so sorry I near thought to give
dear Alice anything for her
