at Y-Next wk. Lettie Craft is to
be with us. We were out
to N. Benton and put up at
Lettie's during the Convention.
She is now at Y., [clerking ?] will be with us a wk.
I expect we are going to
take her out to widow
Nebbs, who had an only child,
(a son). She is said to be worth
from $2,5000. $7,5000 and is a
member of our church.
Lettie says she will
mash him. Next yr., he is to
be one of Hiram College's
highest graduates.
Grant and I expect to spend
part of a wk. at the same college
at the ministerial convention
and will be away evry wk.
from now until fall,
if nothing happens. Aunt May
says John's wife is as, [poor ?],
as a shadow, is in very
poor health.
Oh, E., how much I wanted
to see you and wish you
could see our dear baby
while she is a baby, for I
realize she is fast leaving
babyhood. She is 8 mon., 1wk and
1 day and she sits alone,
can roll and almost
pull herself up on her
feet. Has said papa for
about a mon. Has two teeth
and, it seems to me,
that there never could be
a cuter child. Lettie and
many others says she
is the sweetest child
they ever seen, but, of
course, I am like all
other mothers can see
what others would not.
Wish you could be here in
