If you could only have
been with us this fall to
have enjoyed the good conventions.
Last wk., we were
at Braceville to our county,
(church), conv. and oh, what a
feast of good things for both
mind and body. There was
Rev. Anderson of Youngstown,
Rev Vanhorn, Rev of Warren,
Rev Wilcox Rev of Cleveland,
a number of profs. from Hiram College
and plenty of little preachers,
such as G. E. Pike. Our dinners
were served in the church
yard under canvas. My,
what a feast!
This wk., we were at a conv. at
Niles. It was another good one.
Had a number of very able
speakers. We went the
evening of the first day
and as soon as it was over,
up came one of Mrs., { ?son's],
old girls who wanted me to
go home with her. At first,
I did not know her but she
told me who she was and
that she had married and
to make it the more strange,
her husband was and old
acquaintance of Mr. Pike's.
So we accepted the invitation
and remained with them
during our stay. You remember
that Dr. Williams
wanted to go with me
at New Lisbon Fair. He is
married and living there. We
called on him. And Birth
Gallegar of Mt Union is married
to a Mr. Jhonson who is the
manager of the Sanitarium
at Nyles and lives there.
