Write with a pencil. I came from the
farm and as plain as anybody, I think I will
take up the city life after I get out of the Army,
but never expect to let the city get the best of me.

The Y.M.C.A. will give a program and lots
of eats next Wednesday evening, all free for the
servicemen. Will write about it later.

How is Ross Field? I suppose some of the,
[comfamp?], have left and others arrived. Wish the
Third Company was back again. Is, [Holderfarm?],
there? He got a furlough about three months ago
and hasn't arrived here. Some of the boys said he
reported for duty in Ross Field.
