Inclos'd you have Mary Bakers Bill Certificate for four
Months Pension £6.13.4 when paid you will please to pass to my
Credit.~

In our company Letter of 25th Oct[obe]r 1763 we Inclos'd you Mr
Otis's receipt for Cash p[ai]d him Expenses &c for Acco[un]t Mr Arthur Jones
& desir'd you to receive it of Mr Jones & Credit our account but on
looking over your Acco[un]t I find no Credit for it & as I have
not included it in Mr Jones's account now sent him. I inclose
you my Bill on Mr Jones for £4.10/ St[erlin]g amo[un]t of Cash p[ai]d Mr
Otis which you will please to get paid & Credit my account for
the same. ~

You must Excuse me that I cannot send you all accounts
by this, I have not been able, we have been terribly confus'd
here, but hope we shall soon be redress'd. I have not yet had
time to Examine the accounts you sent, but shall finish all
matters to go by Scott-

Inclos'd is a power of attorney to your G H from Saml & Ebr
Brown
of this Town, as also a Note of hand due from T. Jas.
Gruchy
of Guernsey for £53.17.8 Lawfull Money. I take the
Liberty to pray the favour of your G H to obtain payment
thereof, which will much oblige the persons & I shall [esteem?] a
favour, when recvd you will please to pass its amo[un]t to my Credit
& send me advice of it with the Charges attending that I may
pay the Browns. ~

I must refer to my next by Scott & Hunter being now
oblig'd to finish my Letters as Marshall is ready.~ I shall write
you by Hunter & Gallaspie for Insurance by ^on Scott; but if you
think best you may order Insurance as usual 9/16 on your
account & 7/16 for my Acco[un]t. I shall Ship a pretty large parcell
of whale Bone by Scott on our joint accounts but I cannot
determine the amount till Hunter sails. I have wrote for
Insurance on the Boston Packett via Pinatagua-

The Brig Lydia is now unloaded & goes in the
ways to grave tomorrow. shall begin to Load in two days
& if the weather be good, as our Custom house is open shall
send him away in 15 or 20 days ~ or sooner if I can-
