* Dr Cusson of Montpelier, finding it equal in efficacy
to the Peruvian bark, has not only administered it in the
cure of Intermittants, but for restoring tone to debilitated
patients, and for stopping gangrene. The dose of the
Hippocastinum is in doses of from one to two drams in powder.
