Sunday 5th February
it continues as Cold as Ever
there is But little stiring by
Rason of the Cold in the
Evening we Espied a Bright
Light in the City and another
in Bonpoor Village Supposd
it to be a signal made by Sam[?]
tory, in order to Carry Some
provision in across the river
a party was sent off from our
guard down to Bonpoor to find
out the Occation of the Light
Before we had gone for the light
was gone we march'd down to a
torys house wehre we supposd
the lgiht was made and sat a
gaurd this night in the morning
we returnd Back to our Quarters
