The Troops are to be in the boats
by two o'Clock exactly. No lights are
to be Shewn in any of the Transports
escept the Signals above mentioned.
After 12 o'Clock at Night, and there
must be a profound silence throughout
the Whole army, and above all things
the firing of a Single Musket must
be avoided ~ The men of War's
boats will be sent to their respective
Transports, by one in the Morning.
The Gen:l is sufficiently convinced of
the good Disposition of the Troops,
by what he has already seen, ~ He
desires they will not Huzza, or make
any noise at Landing, but be attentive
to the Commands of their Officers, by
which they can never be put into Confu
:sion, or fail of Success, ~ Their Officers
will lead them directly to the Enemy
If the Admiral, or Gen:l should think
proper to alarm the Enemy in the be:
:ginning of the Night, The Troops are to
take no manner of notice of it, but
prepare to obey their orders with great
exactness at the appointed time, & to be
ready to row off from y:s three places of
Rendezvous before day _______________
