The Signal to prepare to land, is
a blue, and yellow checkered flag, at
the Main Top, gallant mast head,
and one Gun. __________________
On board the Richmond, off the
Isle of Orleans, 27th June, 1759
The Signal to be made to land to
morrow morning about 6 O'Clock,
the Sloops, and Schooners, that have
Rangers on board, to draw on shore
The [F?]ive Companies of Rangers, and
Capt:n Cardin's Company of Light
Infantry, are to be landed first, to
reconoitre the Country ___________
The Flat bottomed boats only, to be
employed, in landing the men, they are
to assemble at the Lowstaff, at four
in the Morning, and from thence will
be sent first to the Rangers, then to
Amherst's Reg:t, and then to the other
Corps according to their Ranks, or the
Conveniency of their Situation _______
The men are to take their Knapsacks
