— Cambridge, Mass. —
This A.M. (Sunday) George took me to drive
through Waltham & East Lexington. Air
clear & cool. Foliage disappearing. Colors fine.
Gnaphalium polycephalum, Mx. Roadside. Lexington.

Nov. 16 — Cambridge Mass.
A clear, cool Sunday.
Solidago sempervirens, L. Salt marsh [back of Cambridge Cemetary] by Chas. River
Juniperus virginiana, L. Fruit by the River.

Nov. 27 — Cambridge Mass.
Mr Morong is home again!! Yesterday I
received his last letter from Caldera
Chili {Chile}, telling of his near departure, and
I also received a telegram yesterday, telling
of his arrival in New York and of his coming
to Boston on the 27th. This P.M. I went
up to 755 Tremont St. and saw him.
He is well and as bright as ever. We had
a delightful talk for an hour.

Nov. 28th Cambridge
Met Mr. Morong at Harvard Sq. at 2 P.M. and
went with him to the Herbarium where we
saw Dr. Watson, Prof. Sargent, Prof. LM Underwood
& Prof. W.J. Beal. Mr. Morong dined with
me. He told us much of his trip —
This A.M. I called on Mrs. Asa Gray
in regard to arranging some autograph
letters of Dr. Gray —
