some outstanding sentence or paragraph which seems
made to order for any mood I may be in. Your letters
cover a lot of ground, so to speak and I am pleased.
I am sorry your poor mother is not up and about
as yet. This is our big year the one we have been
praying for, when all good things are to be ours. So
naturally your mother must hurry up and get well. She
can come to Hill Top and help me fix the place up. I
can promise her the time of her life. She will have to
fix the lunch and help me in many ways.
I am glad you have another grandson. Three sons
do make a fine family I would say. Sarah has been
a fine daughter and a great comfort to you.
You do get a higher mark when your letter is early.
To you goes credit for writing the most interesting
letters that it has been my pleasure to ever receive. I
cannot explain this fully; but you, with your vast knowledge
must understand what I mean, but can't quite say.
I received $5 for a pint of blood two weeks ago.
The cook house attractions grow in value all the time.
Frankly, I am pleased with the prospects in general.
You must give my best wishes to Mrs. Thompson.
Some day tho, I must have my cluster of greenhouses!
Still, I have not heard from Dad or Mary. You
might write and give them an old fashion pep talk.
Soon you must pay me another visit - We have
many things - old and new to discuss!
I asked Miss Rice to remind Jessie Binford of my
fondness of open spaces. Time she was producing or
folding up completely. The dictionary you gave me needs repairs.
Sending you my fondest and best wishes.

Yours, Russell McWilliams 5661-E
