Dear Miriam. I received your nice letter wednesday and enjoyed hearing from you very much. Now that the weather is much better I hope your hip is better. I know when the weather is cold and damp I can feel it in my leg. the doctor said if it continue to give me trouble when the bone chips come out he's going to open it and scrape it out I think he should've fixed it right in the first place. Miriam you sent the book youth in conflict a few months ago. and I enjoyed it very much. Parents should benifit from your book especially if they have troubled children. I returned it to you through father foley. it was very kind of you send it to me so that I could have something to read.

Miriam if you're not able to find that book by Wendy Day Veerers Carter island Home. in your book store. I would appreciate it if you could get Voronico Lake's Book it's her autobiography and it's very interesting. she was on a television talk show talking about her private life and her life as an actress and her struggle as a person. I don't have any idea what her book cost. thanks for delivering my message to Mrs Willis. I imagine you heard about the people down in washington protesting the war in indochina. I hope it does some good. President Nixon said all the soldiers will be home by 1972 course he's been saying that every since he took office. besides I think somebody else said they will all be home by the end of 72. so long for now.

Very truly yours. Charles E. Tracy

Dear Miriam. I received your nice letter saturday. and was very happy to hear from you as always. I hope you're feeling well it was nice and warm and sunny out today but we didn't go out this morning some of the men went down to the gym I don't go down very often because its a little too noisy down there for me every body shouting at the same time besides all I do is sit around and watch or play a little ping pong. I imagine Mrs Willis is back after her day off. I'm going to write her a letter in a few days. I should've written a few times a week ago but I only had enough stamps to answer your letter. Now
