Shall I ask Lt. Colonel McKernan to find a place for recuperation> She sends a Miss Fanell up to see me and they see to my wants. are kind

said she was quite sure Lt. McKernan would find or know of a similar and less expensive place.

Do wish I could write you more - some morning I feel veryvery sure I shall awake and find that all the hurt and pain have gone and I have ceased to look back.

My spinal and blood test are negative here - I know you will be glad to learn this - I was . My next letter will be a masterpiece - I promise - Ever Yours Luiclle

The findings - after all my tests etc were all negative - emotional fatigue - psychosis. Please send a statement at once for Dr Batterman of what you know of my mental and physical health in past few years - including the blood results. All tests were negative here - it seems strange as last spring I believe Dr. [Tiffaning?] told me there was no change in the blood test.

Re Lucille Devine

E M K Our file -

Dear Dr. Van Waters:

We have just had a report on the employment status of Lucille Devine, as follows:

We have placed her as full time sales clerk with Cushman Bakery Co., at their Store in the Pennsylvania Station. Her hours will be from 10A.M. to 7 P.M., at $19. per week of 48 hours. In addition, there will be a 1% commission on sales after she has been there for 90 days. She will start work tmorrow, Thursday, April 27, at 10 A.M.

Lucille looks much better and seems quite enthused over the job. We will keep close supervision over her.

Praying God to bless you, believe me

Sincerely yours,

Agnes H. McKernon LT. COLONEL

AHM:H

P.S.- This is only a start, as I would like to get her something with a larger salary. She has stayed at the Home for three weeks and looks much better. We are helping her to get white uniforms today.
