Shelburne and Gilead is
about 1/2 mile beyond Wheeler's
Pond. At the pond we
went into the bog and there
I gathered for the press

Calopogon pulchellus
Pogonia ophioglossoides
Smilacina trifolia.

The latter plant I have
never seen before.
In Gilead, by the road-
side, I picked some

Polygonum cilinode {ciliinode}

climbing some 3 ft high
I never saw this before and
I have pressed two specimens.
