1908 Oct 21. Dr. Dorsett died today about one month after George died. Nov 17. [N?]. John took his Father to (also Dr. Turner went with him) to Baltimore, for operations, telegram says operation successful. Nov 20. Nov 27. Mr. J. D. Williams & family moved to Burlington today. Dec. 1. Sam has his position with the Keeler Brass Company, he takes charge of the office Dec first 1908.

Dec. 7 John & his Father returned from Baltimore today Dec. 7. 1908. 1909. Jan 11. Bob started for Cuba today. 1909. Returned Jan 23rd 4 o'clock in the morning. John & Odell Lindsay went in the hardware together Jan. 1909 John & Charlie Brown have gon to Winston Salem to the Fair. Oct. 6 1909 Bob's going tomorrow to the fair.

1909 Blanche Mock come to go to school in High Point Oct. 6. 1909. Oct 25. The Malleable range was moved into our home. 1909. Nov 4. They are all gone to see Miss Mary Thompson married tonight except Mary Alice & myself (Gram). John's gone on a visit to Baltimore New Year's Dec. 31. 1909. Bess took a trip to Winston Christmas Dec. 1909.
