Kate Smith's Heavenly Pumpkin Pie
1 pkg Butterscotch Pudding
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Dash of cloves & nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt 1 1/4 c milk
1 3/4 c drained, mashed pumpkin
1 baked 9 in. pie shell
Add spices & salt to pudding.
add milk and cook until thick.
Add pumpkin. Spoon into
shell and chill until firm.
If you use vanilla pudding,
add 1 1/2 tbs molasses after
adding milk.
Salted Peanuts & Almonds
Blanch dry. Put in baking pan
with 1 tbs melted butter in Mod. oven.
Stir often till brown. Salt Or put butter
in pan. Stir nuts for 2 min Salt.
