Cream Filling
1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
2 c scalded milk
1/s T butter
1 egg
1/4 t salt
1 t vanilla
3 T cocoa or 1 sq chocolate
Mix flour and sugar and
cocoa together. Slowly add
hot milk. pour mixture
into double boiler and
cook 20 min, remove from# heat. Beat egg, add butter
and egg to flour and mik
mixture. return to fire and
cook over water until egg is
coagulated then add salt, cool
and add flavouring.
