Kentucky Potatoes

Peel potatoes and if old let stand
in cold water a time.
Slice thin. Put a layer of slices in
a buttered pudding dish, dredge
with flour a little salt and pepper.
More potatoes and so fill the dish
nearly full.
Pour thin cream over to about cover.
Bake an hour in a moderate oven.
