Garden Succotash
1 cup cooked baby lima beans
1 cup cooked yellow whole kernel corn
1½ cup cooked green peas
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
½ cup coffee cream
¼ cup finely chopped red pimento
Mix all ingredients together + put
in a baking dish or casserole +
heat in a moderate oven 350° F. for
30 min. Serves 7 to 8 persons.

California Ham Slice
1-2 lb. slice of ham cut 1 inch thick
Juice of 1 orange
1½ tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup tart applesauce
2 tbsp melted butter
Beat last 6 ingredients together. Preheat
electric roaster to 450° F. Place ham in
well greased center inset pan. Cover with
sauce + bake 1½ hrs at 325° to 350° F.
