Stuffed Hamburger Patties
1 lb ground beef | ⅓ cup milk |
2½ cup stuffing mix | ½ cup melted butter |
Salt & pepper | ¼ cup water |
1 can tomato sauce or left | 1 tsp worcestershire |
Shape into 4 or 5 flat patties. Prepare remaining 2 cups
stuffing mix with the water & butter. Make mounds of ¼
of stuffing on each hamburger patty and fold over hamburgers,
pinch edges together to seal. Place in shallow pan. Bake
in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Drain off grease. Pour left
over gravy or tomato sauce and bake 15 minutes longer.

Barbecued Hamburgers
1½ [lb] ground beef | salt & pepper |
1 small green pepper | 1 can tomato soup |
1 small stalk celery | 1 large onion |
1 Tbls [Tbsp] mustard | 1 cup water |
Fry onion, celery & pepper until tender, add meat & fry
until brown, add reminaing ingredients & simmer for 45 min.

Fruit Soup
2 quarts of water
1 cup dried prunes
Simmer ½ hour, add ½ cup tapioca and ½ cup
sugar. Cook until tapioca is cooked. Add ½ cup raisins
2 cinnamon sticks, ½ orange & ½ lemon peeled and cut
into small pieces. Last add 3 peeled & sliced apples. Cook
just a little so apples do not lose shape. Serve warm
