The Lay - Reader had begun his services on advent Sunday - all
the White workers were pleased with him, and
he seemed to be meeting with good success.

On motion the meeting adjourned

At a meeting of the Vestry of St: Johns Church
held in the Brick Chapel on Tuesday, January
5th 1892.
Presnt
Rev. L. W. Burton Rector presiding and
Capt Cyrus Bossieux, John F. Mayer, R.L.
Brown, G.G. Minor, George L. Carrie, Benjamin
F. Howard and George K. Taylor.
The meeting was opened with prayer; the
minutes of the last meeting were read and
approved.
Capt. Bossieux stated to the meeting that he
deemed it neccessary in order to properly ventilate
the Church, that two Registers be put in the ceiling;
On motion - It was resolved, that the Wardens
be requested to have Registers put in at the
charge of the Church.
Resolved that the Wardens be requested to
look into the matter of repairing the papering
in the Brick Chapel; and if deemed advisable
to have such repairs done.
Resolved, that the Ladies Aid Society - be authourized
to use a portion of the wood from the "Sycamore
tree" now in the possession of Capt Cyrus
Bossieux, to be used in making such
articles as may be desired.
The Rector announced that Mr. F.A.
Christian and Mr.A.H. Rohleder Communicants
