Richmond, Va.
April 5, 1837.

Mr. Lanscay, much to my mortification,

Miss Medina's manuscript, - the pacquet left by a
friend at Laenders & Otley's - or any thing else
indeed from yourself.

Let me beg of you on the
reception of this to procure from Mssrs. L & O's the
parcel left there for me - and to pack it
up among the other things you have for me -
directing the same to myself, [underline]"Care of Mr.
Richard D. Lanscay, Bookseller, Richmond, Va."[/underline];
depositing the Bundle with Mr. Theodore
Foster, Corner of Pine & Broadway Streets, N.
York.

Let me further earnestly entreat
you to attend to this request, immediately
on the reception of this letter.

back the whole of the No's of his 2d

for the Merchant (J. B. Wilson) who declined
receiving the same.

You have never told me whether
