Improved but have got the same one I had
when you were here The [Tabor] girls have got
so they can play pretty well it is a very nice
instrument they are all pleased [John] thinks
[there] [his] [mare] crossed the street to speak to him
than ever before & he thinks it is a good thing to have
in the house Mary is very well & was white washing
the back room last night they have papered their
kitchen it looks nicely I must close so as to let
Thomas have a chance - give my love to Rowland &
Rowland write again when the spirit moves Farewell

Thos has backed out about
writing as usual we are all pretty
well this Saturday morning it has rained
steady for two days past & we have been
painting & we are pretty sticky I tell you
[Lenora] don't forget Aunt Ann she speak
about the dishes now & laughs as if she did
a bright thing she improves some walking
I think have not seen Aunt P in a long
time [Lulu] is to work there Love to all
