Remarks on board the Brig Nancy lying at the Castle,

Monday February 18th
This Morning Calm,--- began to heave ahead at 7 Oclock, had the
Stream Anchor at the cathead by 9, When the
[large, bold, flowery letters, centered] Pilot
Came on board for the first time, and took Command, Spread
all Sails, and got the topgallantmast in end. Still Calm, at 2
Oclock in the afternoon, after much heaving, broke ground and run
acrost the Bay, Came too again withe the Best Bower in 6
Fathoms of Warter, the Castle bearing N.N.E. ⅓ of a Mile Dis-
tance, the town S.S.E. 1½ Mile Distance, took the Stream
Anchor out on the Larboard BoW and Dropt it in 3 Fathoms of
Warter, handed the Sailes, and Got all Snug again, the Pilot and
Capt gone on Shore. Wind at E.N.E. with a thick Snow Storm
