YOU MUST REGISTER
For the Army On
JUNE 5, 1917

At Polling Place in Your Township
or You will be Liable to a Heavy
Penalty.

Every man in Burke county, white and colored,
married and single, sound and crippled, between
the ages of 21 and 31 must go to the registration
place in his precinct on June 5th, 1917, between 7
a. m. and 9 p. m., and register with the registrar on
duty. If he fails to do so he will be reported to the
authorities and prosecuted. A heavy penalty of one
year in prison is incurred. If sick ask the registrar
of your precinct how to register. Advise your
friends and neighbors to obey the law and go with
you to register.
