Status: Needs Review

[14 Jan. 1921 pg. 2]

Don't mention anything I tell you to any
one. We had another Reception last
night, at the Woman's Club. Another
line of hand shaking.

We are beginning to get down to
work, and it is a little more
interesting.

Several of the men have asked me
to home with them for week ends
I have promised the Townsends to
go with them. He is in the House,
a lawyer from Dunn. They have
two children. Mr. Young may go too.

I am going to Schumann- Heink
with R.O. Everett's party. The men
tease me about him. He is a
big handsome fellow from Durham.
He wanted to take me to the dance;
and today he wante dto take me
to lunch. I did not go with him
