It is such a shame that people don't wrap the
packages better after going to all the trouble to prepare
and mail one. Those card board boxes you buy for
mailing is just money thrown away for they never stand
up in transit. You have to use good old paper and
string to have a package arrive in good shape.

If the miniature being had caused you to send
this picture I'm almost glad it was bad. I love this
picture so much and wouldn't take anything for it.
Everything about it is fine the size is just right. So
glad you sent it.

You sure are doing a good job with the bills.
They never get paid a head of time with me. They were
always behind time. Hope we can continue paying
them ahead of time when I get back.

Bennett is back in the States. I received the note for
Custis didn't know he had put anything in my letter until then.
I couldn't tell him about the note for he was gone when
I received it. Glad you like Olson for I do very much.
i have not moved. I get my first apples today. You letters
are not censored and I don't believe you would stop
writting if I didn't answer these questions! How is this paragraph
just as full of answeres as yours was full of questions. All all you like
for I enjoy answering them.
