Flying in this county is a bit different from Canada, the weather is so undependable and there are so many forbidden areas and restrictions. My job is in Trainer Command and I am getting quite a few flying hrs in.

We are treated pretty well by the British people, I have been stationed in Scotland, England and Wales and they all are swell people.

Well thanks again Cheers Rene Gillette

Women's Air Force Aux., I hardly know just how to write this letter of thanks to you.

Believe me, it was with pride, that I received your box of chocolates for Xmas, and I wish I could only express my gratitude more than just a thankfull reply.

It's my wish that the New Year will bring peace to the people of the World. Best of luck to you all and God bless each and everyone. Thanks.

Dear Mrs. Hall,

To-day I received your parcel, and believe me I appreciate it so very much. It seems so little to say just thanks, yet to know the folks back home are thinking of us, gives me the will to try that much harder.

As you know I am on a squadron, and naturally I have divided your parcel among my crew, so that they have asked me to include them with me, the best of luck and good fortune for the new Year to you.

Thanks a lot. K. Whittington (RCAF)
