nightly prayers, and I
sincerely trust that God
will always guard you.
My husband has shown
me the photo gravures
of the University, they
are charming, how much
more so the reality
I know that when all the
actual work in hand
will be finished next year,
my husband will prepare
for starting for S. Francisco.
As also in the meantime
his engagements with the
Company, will happily
be at { ?}, & as much
as I shall regret our
parting for some time-----------------------------------
I must think of all
the pleasures it will
give him to see places
all the works for which
he has devoted his time for over two years, & I shall
always cherish the hope of his returning with some orders,
which we trust will further his fortune, is his starting again
in business for himself. You will, I am sure be pleased
with his new ideas, also of the mosaic floors, which no doubt
will be very much appreciated by architects
