6April 6. Eropeller and family drifted inside of bay and went ashore on sand spit on south side near jetty warf. The steamers Jolanta (???) got a line hitched to her but brook. The barometer down to 29.14 but is going up. 7. Moderate breeze N.W. to light variable winds there 24 hours with frequent rail and hail squalls. Last part of 24 hours fair weather. Sea smooth. General duties for day. Keeper returned to station at 11 A.M. 1st went fishing. Had one visitor. 8. Light N. West to S.E. and South wind there 24 hour with fair weather but cool. Sea very smooth.
