30 treading out while wheat 10 sow
& [unclear] tobacco Sat. on Branch ^{1845 in wheat}
by the bridge ^{[unclear] 1/2 bushel} and cutting down corn

2nd Cutting down corn in mountain field
& Henry halling logs to Millers mill

3 cart broke down & [uncear] made
by Abbot at [unclear] house this year
also getting out flax seed & spreading
flax. Balance [unclear] tobacco & house
Wrote to Ja^s. D. Moon this day etc etc

6 cutting tobacco etc etc housing
new crabtree made by Mr. [name]
& old [unclear] put on by him
sent 39^.00 seed cotton to Millers Mill

7 Halling up & housing tobacco

8 Put up hogs Cutting corn
& cutting trought to feed hogs
getting up 2 gots corn at home
