September 23, 1845 - October 10, 1845

1845 Sept 23. Cutting tobacco 24th cutting
tobacco in second years ground & new Do

25 Cutting tobacco & finished  — over once

26 Housing tobacco this morning
& then for stacking tops

27 Stacking tops this day -- began yesterday
- light crops of tops this year —

29 Finished stacking tops

30 treading out white wheat 10 sow
& succoring tobacco

Oct. 1st Served[?] tobacco Sat. on Branch 1845 in wheat

by the bridge [unclear] 1/2 bushel & cuttingon mountaindown corn

2nd Cutting down corn in mountain field
& Henry halling logs to Millers mill

3 cart broke down & axeletree made
by Abbot at Mulling[?] house this year
also getting out flax seed & spreading
flax. Balance [unclear] tobacco house
Wrote to Jas. D. Moon this day etc etc

6 cutting tobacco etc etc housing
new axletree made by Mr. [name]
& old [unclear] put on by him
sent 3900 seed cotton to Millers Mill

7 Halling up & housing tobacco

8 Put up hogs Cutting corn
& cutting trough to feed hogs
getting up 2 lots corn at home
Fine rain last night ——
