aftewards I lost all fear and
could not make the horse go
fast enough, and when it
did it trotted so violently that
I was nearly shaken to pieces
I can now guide and turn the
horse, and have become so fascinated
that I have not patience
to wait until Wednesday. We have
a lesson also on Friday making
three lessons a week. Mr. Ward
is in town and was present
this morning at the riding lesson,
as was Uncle. Soon as I have
taken several lessons Ma says
Uncle may take me out on the
road. Miss Mary G. lent me
her habit so I am all fixed.
But enough of this, for as you
are not so fascinated with riding
as I am I do not wish to weary
you with a too long recital of my
pleasures. The cause of my sadness
