The Philo. Mathean Society met according to the constitution.
1st Voted, that the society have a library. 2nd Voted, that it be procured by donation. 3rd Voted, that brother Winslow draw up a paper and circulate it for this purpose. 4th Voted, an adjournment.
Jan. 12th. 1st Voted, brother Huntington Librarian 2nd, adjourned
January 19th 1st Voted, that brothers Winslow and Newell dispose of the money donated to the libary for the best interests of the society according to their judgment 2nd Voted, that brother Carnes(?) officiate in the absense of brother Huntington
Jan. 26th Met performed and adjourned
Feb. 2nd 1825 Met agreeable to constitution. Voted brothers Winslow president and Boutell Vice president. adjourned.

2. March 2nd 1825. Philo-Mathian Society met agreeable to constitution
Voted, 1st, Mr. Smith be admitted as a member.
Do. 2nd, Mr Pratt be proposed for admittance.
Do. 3rd, time of comencement of the exercises be half past six oclock.
Do. 4ly, the hour for the library to be opened, be from two to three oclock Saturday P.M. weekly.
Do. 5ly, books shall go out no other time
Do. 6ly, there shall be a committee of three, persons to overlook the concerns of the library.
7ly, Do. brothers Hewells, Huntington, Winslow, be the committee
Do. 8ly, all books shall be returned to library every other week.
Do. 9ly the person neglecting this return shall forfeit the sum of twelve and an half cents
Do. 10ly an adjournment

2nd Do that the same be not carried out of town.
3rd Do that the first meeting be on second wednesday of next term.
4th Do that the hour of commencement be at half past seven o'clock.

6th Do that Mr. Stearns and Mr Hoyt be proposed for admission into the society
The 6th here put through mistake for the fifth vote.
