August 2nd. Society convened. After the opening of the meeting.
The Society proceeded to choose the following persons offices for
the ensuing half year viz

Winslow } { President
Smith } { Vice President
Hackett } { Secretary
Dearborn } { Master of Ceremonies
Stocker } was chosen { Master of Symbols
Winslow } { Auditor
[Worcester?] } { Treasurer
Palmer } { Librarian

Dearborn, Stearns, and Palmer were chosen to constitute the
Executive Committee together with the President and Vice-
President. Shaw took the office of doorkeeper. The parts
for the next meeting were then assigned and the Society ad-
journed.
