to send an Extract of this Minute to the Registrar of the
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons without delay.

A complaint ws made regarding the conduct
of a Student in Arts, specially affecting Professor Bell. At
Professor Bell's request it was agreed not to prosecute this
matter, and the Principal was requested to admonish
the Student in private.

The meeting was closed with the benediction.

This day the Senate met and was constituted.
Present the Principal in the chair, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Murray, Bell and Mackerras.

The Minutes of the previous meeting were
read and sustained.

Report on
Medical
Examinations

A Report from the Registrar of the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons in reference
to the recent examinations in Medicine was laid on
the table along with the relative documents. The
Principal, the Registrar and Professor Bell were
appointed a Committee to examine the same

The meeting was adjourned till Monday,
twenty fifth instant, at one o'clock P.M.

Graduation
in Medicine

The Committee appointed to examine the
documents relating to the recent examinations in
Medicine, reported that all the Requisite Certificates
of Candidates had been given in, and it was accordingly
resolved, on the motions of Professor Murray seconded
by Professor Mackerras, that the Degree of Doctor
of Medicine should be conferred, and it is hereby conferred,
on Albert Armstrong, Joseph Campbell, John
J. Dugdale, George W. Howell, Robert Mark, Daniel
