Mr. Gallaher's

The Secretary intimated that the Rev. John
Gallaher, Pittsburgh, an alumnus of Magee College
Ireland, was desirous of obtaining from this University
the degree of B.A. The Vice Principal was
requested to examine Mr. Gallaher's College certificates
and report to next meeting.

Letters were read from the Rev. Stuart Acheson,
Cookstown an alumnus of Knox College, Toronto,
and the Rev. J.J. Cochrane, of Thornton an alumnus
of the Presbyterian College Montreal inquiring
if they could be admitted to an examination
in the subjects prescribed to candidates for the
degree of B.A. with the view of their obtaining
that degree. The Secretary was instructed to inform
them that they can be admitted to the said examination
if they can present certificates of
having attended classes in the prescribed subjects
in same recognized College, but not other
